Laminating the cards is totally optional, but I did find this really affordable laminator that works perfectly for my needs at home. Next, I laminated the cards so they would last longer. You could absolutely use scissors instead of a paper cutter. Once printed, I cut them out using this paper cutter. I used cardstock to print on so that the cards would not tear or bend as easily when being handled by my toddlers. So I have to say, I am very happy with it so far! I printed a whole booklet for my son to start his preschool curriculum and the ink tank levels did not even budge. The EcoTank is apparently the go-to printer for many homeschooling families! It has the ability to print on two sides and has amazing ink usage. Since we are planning to homeschool, we invested in a refurbished Epson EcoTank Printer. These will hopefully last our family a long time! I love how simple it was to print out and create these beautiful daily routine schedule printables.
